Crafting Your Vocal Brand: Inside Peacock Voices' One-on-One Coaching

February 2024

Happy Leap Day from us at Peacock Voices!

What we've been writing

Wondering what individual vocal coaching entails? Many of our prospective clients are new to the concept and often ask how it all works.

This month, our blog delves into the details of one-on-one vocal coaching.

We always begin our work with a consultation, where we discuss your goals and objectives.

Do you feel like you’ve found an ideal authentic sound that you now want to bolster for presenting at large conferences or on panels? Are you hearing feedback that you come across as shy or unassertive, and are striving to tap into a slightly more confident sound?

Understanding what YOU want from this experience is key to setting us up for success.

Then the fun begins! Together, we will make plenty of silly noises and think of your voice in ways you’ve not before.

We will have fun and laugh throughout the process - allowing ourselves to let go and play. We’ll find all sorts of unique sounds and colors that your voice can produce along the way.

Through these exercises, we delve into resonance, breath control, volume, inflection, and more. Each session is designed to enhance your vocal skills, harnessing nervous energy and leveraging breath to support your voice.

Additionally, we discuss research on how to use your voice more effectively in sales, leadership, and persuasive communications.

We also discuss how our voices can affect the culture we create at work, home, and more.

If you think now might be the right time to schedule your consultation, reply to this email - we would be happy to set up a call and begin your coaching journey!

What others are saying

“My experience with Peacock Voices has been a revelation. Within minutes of beginning my first session, my coach was able to help me access a much richer and resonant part of my voice. The contrast was startling! It was like hearing my true voice for the first time. Margaret and her team are absolute pros!"

March 2025 Hello Reader! If you’ve ever felt like you had to change your voice to be taken seriously, you’re not alone. Women’s voices are often judged more critically than their male counterparts. Studies show they’re perceived as less charismatic, less likable, and less confident compared to men. That’s frustrating, unfair, and frankly, exhausting. But what if instead of fighting against your natural voice, you could use it to your advantage? In honor of Women's History Month, we're taking...

Or perhaps even too harsh, when you try to compensate. You’re not alone. This month, we’re exploring the power of projection. Because struggling to be heard shouldn't be holding you back. Why Does Projection Matter? Making sure your voice carries effectively in any setting is an essential skill. It is the key to making...

As an introvert myself, I know how challenging it can feel to thrive in a workplace built for extroverts. We’re told to “speak up” or “be more outgoing,” as if transforming into someone else is the only way to succeed. But here’s the truth You don’t need to change who you are to amplify your impact. Instead, I’ll guide you...
